Christine Glidden, DC, CDN received a BFA in Modern Dance from the University of Utah and BS in Biology and Doctorate of Chiropractic from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon.
Dr. Glidden completed a medical clerkship at the Veteran’s Affairs Palo Alto Hospital Systems in Monterey, California where she comanaged complex cases treating Veteran’s struggling with PTSD and chronic pain. During her clerkship, she completed clinical rotations at the Palo Alto VA Hospital systems that included Radiology, Pain Management, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Spinal Cord Units. Dr. Glidden is passionate about integrative medicine and collaborating with various specialties to ensure patients receive the best standard of care. Dr. Glidden specializes in rehabilitative medicine and treating athletes, dancers, chronic pain patients and those struggling with headaches and migraines, and TMJ disorders. She received her 450 Hour Pilates Training Program in 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada and 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Certification from the University of Utah’s College of Health in 2018.
Prior to being a chiropractic physician, Dr. Glidden danced professionally and trained with professional dance companies across the country while also acting as a Yoga Therapist at Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in Las Vegas and private chiropractic clinics. Dr. Glidden has has received additional trainings from the American Institute & Dry Needling Institute, the Harkness Center for Dance at the NYU Langone Medical Center, and the Oregon Chiropractic Convention.
She uses dry needling, cupping, instrument assisted soft tissue therapy, flexion distraction therapy, electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) therapy, nutritional counseling, McKenzie techniques, and rehabilitation in combination with traditional chiropractic manipulation for the best results. Dr. Glidden believes in specialized care for all patients in order to maximize function of the human body.
When Dr. Glidden is not in the clinic, she enjoys teaching movement, hiking, restaurant hopping, stand up comedy, and walking her dog named Samson.
