Phase 2: Corrective Care

It may seem that “Phase 1: Intensive Care” is the most important phase because it focuses on reducing your symptoms as quickly as possible. We also want you to feel better as soon as possible. But, it’s essential to resolve the condition so it doesn’t return in the future.

The best course of care is not just to provide relief or reduce symptoms; it’s to fix the problem the best you can. That is why at MCR Chiropractic, Phase 2 is the most important when addressing your health goals.

Phase 2: Corrective Care focuses on fixing the problem that caused your issue in the first place.

In this phase, you will continue to receive chiropractic adjustments, muscle or exercise treatments, and health education. However, the frequency of these treatments will decrease as your body changes and moves toward better balance and overall health.

During Phase 2, you can expect the plan of care in this phase to be 1 to 2 visits per week over the next 6 to 8 weeks. Our MCR Chiropractic team will conduct a progress update or re-evaluation every 4 weeks or sooner if needed.

As with Phase 1, each patient’s timeline for fixing their problem is based on their overall health condition, length of time with the issue, and compliance with the treatment plan.

Furthermore, the degree to which the problem can be completely fixed depends on these variables. Therefore, communication must be a two-way street so we know how hard to push forward and when to step back or address any other concerns you may have.
