ESTEBAN MARTINEZ FRANCIA, DC, MS, MS

MCR Chiropractic – Somerset

Esteban Martinez Francia, DC, MS, MS is originally from Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico. He has been passionate about sports and movement for as long as he can remember. Baseball was his true passion, and he played all the way through college. He earned his Bachelor’s in Biology from Stetson University before returning to Puerto Rico to complete a Master’s in Medical Sciences. He then pursued his chiropractic education at the University of Western States in Oregon, where he earned both his Doctor of Chiropractic and Master’s in Sports Medicine.

Dr. Martinez Francia’s passion for health and wellness has been a lifelong journey. He knew early on that he wanted a career in the medical field, but it wasn’t until 2020, after his first visit with a chiropractor, that he truly fell in love with chiropractic care. Seeing patients walk into the office in pain and leave smiling, moving freely, and feeling transformed made him realize he wanted to be the person who could help others experience that same relief. His approach to care is centered on patient satisfaction and autonomy. He believes in using his hands and knowledge to help alleviate pain while ensuring patients feel heard, safe, and empowered in their recovery. Knowing that he can make a real difference in someone’s quality of life is what drives him every day.

Dr. Martinez Francia genuinely cares about their well-being and takes pride in providing treatments that support their journey toward better movement and function. His goal is to empower patients with care that not only relieves pain, but also restores confidence in their bodies, helping them stay active for life. With a background in sports and personal experience across various sports such as baseball, basketball, soccer, and track and field, he has a special interest in sports medicine. He has worked as a chiropractic assistant at multiple sporting events that include wrestling championships, roller derby, baseball, softball, basketball, and rugby, among others.

Outside of the clinic, he enjoys staying active in any way he can, whether it’s hiking, exploring scenic routes, or playing pickleball, which is a sport he has recently discovered and loves. His favorite way to stay moving is going on walks and running with his pit bull, Laila. He also has a deep appreciation for books, manga, comics, and audiobooks; he is always looking for new stories to dive into. He looks forward to building a healthier, stronger community one adjustment at a time.
