DANIEL MICHAELSON, DC
MCR Chiropractic – Norwell
Daniel M., DC, a licensed chiropractor serving the Norwell community with a focus on evidence based, neuromusculoskeletal care. He earned his undergraduate degree from Providence College and completed his Doctor of Chiropractic at the University of Bridgeport in 2025. Dr. Michaelson developed his passion for chiropractic care through his own experiences as a competitive athlete. Like many athletes, he dealt with recurring sports related injuries and chronic aches that interfered with both performance and daily life.
Through chiropractic care, he experienced firsthand how restoring proper joint motion and addressing movement dysfunction could relieve pain, improve function, and prevent injuries from returning. That experience played a pivotal role in his decision to pursue a career in chiropractic care. His approach to care centers on relieving pain by improving how the body functions, with the ultimate goal of long-term prevention.
Dr. Michaelson believes that spinal and extremity adjusting is a powerful tool for restoring motion, reducing stress on the nervous system, and helping patients move and perform at their best. He takes an evidence-based approach, focusing strictly on neuromusculoskeletal conditions and tailoring care plans to each individual’s goals and lifestyle. Dr. Michaelson’s clinical interests include sports injuries, overuse conditions, joint dysfunction, and movement related pain. He utilizes Diversified Technique as his primary adjusting method and incorporates Activator technique, soft tissue therapy, Graston Technique, and rehabilitative exercises when appropriate.
Outside the office, Dr. Michaelson enjoys staying active, following Philadelphia sports, and spending time with his two dogs, Dewey and Duncan. He also enjoys traveling with his wife and believes that maintaining an active, balanced lifestyle is key to long term health and wellness. His goal is to be a trusted resource for patients looking not only to feel better, but to move better and stay healthy for years to come.
